RANDY & SHARON M asked:

My daughter is 23 months old and weighs 31.5 pounds and is 33 1/2 inches tall. She is in the 94% for weight! We are worried about her weight. We adopted her from an orphanage and when she came home, at 10 1/2 months, she was only 15 pounds. Well, a year later and she has more than doubled her weight! She loves to eat and wants to eat all the time. Should I limit what she eats? I’m worried about future obesity issues. I don’t let her eat all day long and feed her a variety of healthy foods, but she continues to gain. She is very healthy and VERY active so I don’t understand why she is so big.
She is only in the 47th percentile for height.

At least 50% of children are either over weight or under weight. So why would you want your child to be compared to thoes kids?
