He will grow out of it.
I don’t even know why.
Yeah he will in about 2-3 years unless he starts smokeing.
Also how active is he?? If he sits in all the time playing games then he might now lose the belly but if he is out alot then yeah he should be fine.
encourage him to get active into sports…he will surely grow out of it,but make sure he portion controls food intake as well
Funny thing here, today’s youth actually has a name. The senior citizens are the baby boomers, the mid-age were the flower children, we are generation X and todays youth are….Generation XL. True story.
The thing is, Americans are so occupied with quick fixes…fad diets, weekend warriors, most notably, FAST FOOD and VENDING MACHINES. Also, with all the gaming consoles and the internet, kids are more occupied with playing video games than going out and using their imagination.
Parents will opt to sit their kid in front of the TV rather than take them out and play catch. So, in answer to your question, it is a parenting problem. There is no scapegoat, only bad parenting.
He may grow out of it, he may not, it all depends on his activity level later in life.
Its that expression of ‘puppy fat’, most kids seem to be overweight but when they grow they tend to lose the weight by becoming more active and playing more sports etc. Try to get him involved in more activities like football to keep his body moving, can’t hurt anyway!
most kids are usally idk to much sweets they dont work out..well the y should play outside more its the stupid video games and junk foods but they grow out of it..i did im 15 now and look fine used to be overweight
because , u can blame computer/ds,handheld games and tv
and Nintendo tv games for many kids being obese in today’s society. He may grow out of it, if he excersizes. My 5 year old was outside and a kid with a toy gun put it to her head and pulled the trigger and scared her half to death, and as the result, she didn’t even WANT to go outside and play til she was a year older,(age 3). She sat in the house and got a belly on her,now weare trying to get her to lose weight. Give him time, and get him a bike,or something he likes to do.That’ll help. Limit how much he eats, how much time he spends on the computer/games/ tv games, and make him go outside and play. My kids love to be outdoors, and I let them go. They both have a belly on them, but they are active as well. Food, is another topic, limit what he eats, how much he eats and do not ride his butt about it. My mom did and as the result, I went to friends houses so I could eat in peace and as the result of her nagging,I developed an eating disorder. Parenting is the problem, not the kid being overweight…
